Mary Flynn
Born in Seattle, Washington, and raised right here in Jacksonville, Florida, Ms. Mary Flynn is a proud product of Duval County Public Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Edward Waters College and holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
With over 25 years of experience in education—including 16 years in administration—Ms. Flynn has served a diverse range of student populations across urban, suburban, and alternative middle and high schools. Her career path has come full circle: this marks her third placement and sixth overall year at A. Philip Randolph Career Academies, where she has grown from a teacher and reading coach to an assistant principal, and now, principal.
Ms. Flynn is thrilled to return to the campus and bring her wealth of knowledge back to the community. Outside of school, she loves traveling, enjoying family movie nights, and caring for her three pets: Champ, Max, and Skye. Guided by a philosophy of positivity and seeing the best in others, she is proud to lead where Jaguar Pride is Supreme!
Ms. Flynn believes that being positive and seeing the good in people is something she strives for in her daily walk of life. Jaguar Pride Rules!
