91:4- Bible Club

Twice a month

Students learn what it looks like to approach life with a biblical perspective. The club's key verse is Psalm 91:4 - "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection" 

In our 30-minute lunch meetings, there are interactive games, lunch is provided for free by our sponsors, and youth pastors share a life application bible lesson.

5000 Role Models of Excellence

The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project aims to intervene in the lives of minority male youth in an effort to provide them with positive role models and experiences that will empower them to make good choices, encourage healthy living, be responsible, be respectful, and achieve their goals. A perspective member should be a minority male (not exclusive) at a participating 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project School. Boys must complete the Application and submit a Parent Consent Form. Boys must be willing to attend weekly meetings and attend events. To be deemed eligible a boy must meet at least two of the qualifying criteria

We are Troupe # 3341 of the International Thespian Society.  Our club offers an opportunity for both social interaction and development of theatrical skills for students who share these interests.  Short scenes, full play productions, and building scenery are just a few of our activities.  Some of our members travel to district and state festivals with prepared scenes. We also provide technical theatre support to other events in the school auditorium.

Great Decisions Club

Great Decisions is a student enrichment program on foreign affairs that fosters critical thinking, civic engagement, and decision-making skills. Students are encouraged to discuss and question some of the most pressing foreign policy challenges facing American today. There will be events throughout the year including: guest speakers, trivia competition, and dialogue opportunities.
