Visual Arts Program

The Visual Arts program at Samuel Wolfson High School is designed for artists of all levels, from beginners to advanced.

Required Supplies:
Pre-IB Visual Art (2D course)
Pencils
Ball point pens (blue or black)
Crayola or Prang color pencils (min 12 ct)
Black markers (extra fine .03)
Students will also have a take home project fee of $35 that will cover cost for the visual art journals, extra fine paint brushes, watercolor paints, special art pencils, art erasers, paint paper/canvas, and color printer ink for journal page photographs.
Pre-IB Visual Art 2 (3D course)
Pencils (#2 & color)
USB drive
Students will also have a take home project fee of $35 that will cover the cost of the visual art journal, color printer ink for journal pages, clay glazes, plaster wrap, and other supplies needed to create sculptures.
IBSL & IBHL Visual Art , AP2D, AP Draw & AP3D

Pens (color gel type)
Black markers (extra fine .03)

Students also have a take home project fee of $50 that will cover the cost of the visual art journal required for the exams for each course, supplies for making individual projects, sculpture materials, color printer ink for journal pages, and mat board for the 2D art work to be prepared for exhibition/exam. Note: due to individual project choices students may need to furnish their own special supplies for a project made using materials such as specialty acrylic mediums, large canvas and other supplies not found in the Duval County supply warehouse.
