SAFETY PATROLS
The Safety Patrols are a dedicated team of student leaders who serve as the "guardians of the halls," assisting peers during morning arrivals, afternoon dismissals, and hallway transitions. Clad in their iconic neon belts, our patrols develop real-world leadership skills by modeled behavior, ensuring that safety rules are followed and helping younger students navigate the school with confidence. Being a member of the patrol isn't just about directing traffic; it’s about becoming a reliable mentor, practicing punctuality, and learning the importance of civic duty and community service. Whether they are opening car doors with a friendly smile or standing post to ensure an orderly walk to the bus, our Safety Patrols are the heart of our school’s commitment to a secure and welcoming environment for everyone!
TJ WORLD EXPLORERS
Our club serves as a "global headquarters" for students to explore the world without ever leaving campus, fostering an environment of curiosity, empathy, and mutual respect through the lens of cultural exchange. From hosting international food tastings and learning traditional dances to discussing global holidays and sharing family heritage, members gain a deeper understanding of the diverse perspectives that shape our world. By participating, students don’t just learn about different countries; they build essential leadership and advocacy skills.
Whether you’re looking to share your own heritage or you’re simply eager to learn about others, the Multicultural Club is your home for discovering that our differences are our greatest strengths!

WTJE NEWS
Our student-led club transforms the school experience by putting kids behind the lens and under the spotlight to produce everything from the daily morning announcements to deep-dive field reports on campus events. By participating in the news team, students gain hands-on experience with professional tools like green screens, digital cameras, and script-writing software. All while developing "superpowers" in public speaking, collaborative teamwork, and critical thinking. Whether we are interviewing teachers for an exclusive scoop or editing the weekly highlight reel, our mission is to keep TJES connected, informed, and inspired. It’s more than just a broadcast; it’s a place where small voices make a big impact, proving that you’re never too young to tell a story that matters!

THE GREEN TEAM
TJ's Green Club is the home of our school’s environmental heroes and future stewards of the planet! Our mission is to turn eco-friendly ideas into real-world action, transforming our campus into a model of sustainability through hands-on projects like school-wide recycling programs, organic gardening, and energy-saving initiatives. Members develop critical leadership and problem-solving skills as they advocate for a "greener" school, teaching their peers how small daily habits, like reducing plastic waste, can lead to a massive positive impact on the Earth.
