

STEM Enrichment at Twin Lakes Academy Elementary
At Twin Lakes Academy Elementary, our STEM Enrichment programs inspire students to explore, create, and innovate through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. By integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into meaningful real-world challenges, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity skills that prepare them for success in school and beyond.
A Dedicated STEM Lab
Our dedicated STEM Lab provides students with an exciting space to explore, design, build, and discover. Through hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, robotics, coding, and collaborative projects, students apply STEM concepts in meaningful ways that spark curiosity and encourage innovation. The lab serves as a dynamic learning environment where creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving come to life.
STEM Chief Science Officers Program
We empower students to develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while serving as ambassadors for STEM learning. Students have opportunities to amplify their voices, inspire their classmates, and make a positive impact in their school community.

LEGO League
Students work together to design, build, and program LEGO-based robots while tackling real-world challenges. Through teamwork, creativity, and innovation, students develop problem-solving and engineering skills in a fun environment.

TechnoCats
These fourth grade students explore technology through hands-on experiences in digital creativity and innovation. Our TechnoCats are responsible for producing and hosting the school morning news show. Students write the script, create graphics, film and edit movies, and work with technology regularly throughout the show.
TechnoCats students begin their school day at 7:45 am to plan the daily program, edit the show script, do a run through of the program and record the show. For more information about TechoCats, email Tracey Wesley.
Kids Who Code
Kids Who Code introduces students to the exciting world of computer science through hands-on coding activities, creative projects, and collaborative problem-solving. This club encourages curiosity, innovation, and digital literacy while helping our young coders build confidence and develop skills for the future.
