At Terry Parker High School, we encourage students to pursue their passions and exceed their own expectations. Students have many pathways to their future. They can earn free college credits through our Dual Enrollment Program. Students can prepare to be career, workforce or military ready through our CTE programs and NJROTC. Students and families have access to a wide array of services, including parenting classes and on-site counselors.
No matter the dream – we have a pathway to making it a reality. Advanced career courses offer students an opportunity to explore digital media technology and culinary arts. For eligible students we offer dual enrollment through Edward Waters University and Florida State College at Jacksonville. All students have access to academic and wrap-around support at Terry Parker.
Students know there is always something exciting to do at Terry Parker. Love drama or dance? Check! TV production? Gardening? Cooking? Check, check, and check! Our athletic programs are popular with participants and fans alike. Our school spirit is stronger than ever!
We teach our students that through hard work, determination, and courage, big dreams are within reach. Our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program provides personalized academic, social, and emotional support while preparing students for college, the military, or a career.

In our Applied Information Technology Academy students further develop their skills by diving into more complex topics. Through hands-on projects, students apply their coding, design, and problem-solving skills. Students have the opportunity to earn recognized industry certifications. These courses help prepare them for college studies in computer science or related fields and for jobs in IT. Our Culinary Arts Academy provides students with real-world experience with the potential to earn certifications in Certified Food Safety Management and ServSafe(R) Certified Food Protection Manager.
