Hello Bronco Families,
I am honored and excited to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year at Westview PK-8! As your principal, I am proud to continue partnering with our students, families, staff, and community to ensure every Bronco has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
Westview is the BEST View, and this year we are committed to making that belief visible in everything we do. Our focus this year is student growth and progress. We will strengthen academic instruction while intentionally using academic and behavior interventions, progress monitoring, differentiated instruction, and data to ensure students receive the support they need. We recognize that every student learns differently. Our staff is committed to providing exceptional support for all learning abilities while challenging students to reach their highest potential.
Our theme reminds students that they are active participants in their own success.
Lights! Be present and prepared. Camera! Be focused and engaged. Action! Take ownership, persevere, and make choices that move you toward your goals.
Every student may have a different path, but every student can make progress. We will celebrate growth, effort, achievement, and perseverance.
Student success is a shared responsibility. We will continue strengthening collaboration among staff, families, and community partners so our students have the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need to succeed. We invite you to stay connected, communicate with us, participate in school activities, and partner with us throughout the year.
Together, we will create a school where every Bronco feels supported, challenged, valued, and ready to succeed. Broncos, it's your time to be the STAR of your own learning!
Westview is the BEST View!
In partnership,
Mr. Jamie Griffin
Very Proud Principal

Welcome to Westview PK-8 School
Dear Westview Families,
Welcome to an exciting new school year at Westview PK-8! We are thrilled to partner with our students, families, and community as we embark on a year filled with learning, growth, and achievement under our schoolwide theme, "Lights, Camera, Action: Be the Star of Your Own Learning!"
At Westview, we believe every student has unique talents, strengths, and abilities that deserve to shine. Just like the stars of a great movie, our students each play an important role in their educational journey. Through engaging instruction, meaningful relationships, and high expectations, we empower students to take center stage and become active participants in their success.
This year, our spotlight will focus on:
Lights: Illuminate Learning Creating engaging and innovative learning experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
Camera: Capture Growth Celebrating progress, perseverance, and achievements as students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Action: Take Charge of Success Encouraging students to set goals, embrace challenges, and take ownership of their learning while becoming confident leaders both inside and outside the classroom.
As we begin this exciting production together, we invite families to be partners in supporting student success. By working together, we can ensure every child can shine brightly, achieve their goals, and reach their fullest potential.
Thank you for being part of the Westview family. We look forward to a year filled with unforgettable moments, remarkable growth, and championship-level success.
With gratitude and excitement,
Vicki L. Barnes Assistant Principal, Westview PK-8 School Title IX Coordinator
