Information on Student-led Transition Program

The ever-growing military transition program through our safety patrol is a peer-to-peer transition and resiliency initiative that offers lasting opportunities and meaningful support systems for high school students. Its goal is to enhance life skills, build confidence, and reinforce self-worth, empathy, and integrity.

Our JROTC students actively participate in assisting our military students, our school counselor, serves as the Transition Team Coordinator, provides valuable support through small-group instruction. Together, they guide this peer-led club in fostering leadership, building character, enhancing self-esteem, and helping students develop empathy and strong social skills as they integrate into their school community.

Throughout the year, Team Leaders also organize impactful school-wide projects such that celebrates the entire military community, which further strengthen community, awareness, and student connection.
