WESTSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
Westside Middle School enforces the Duval County Public Schools uniform policy and Appearance Code.
Refusal to comply with the uniform policy will result in a violation of the Student Code of Conduct AND Parent Pick-Up.
We expect all students to adhere to the dress code and dress for daily success.

Bottoms |

Bottoms must fit and be secured at the waist. Shorts must be hemmed, school-appropriate, and no shorter than mid-thigh. |

Outerwear |

Only outwear purchased from the approved uniform vender and displaying the Westside logo. |

Exceptions may be made for religious observance, documents medial need, or administrative approval. |
Student IDs |

Students will receive an initial ID free of charge. IDs must be worn around the neck on a lanyard at all times while on campus, on school transportation, and at school-sponsored events. The photo must remain visible and unobstructed. |
All replacements are $5 PER ITEM (ID Card, ID Case, Lanyard). |
Backpacks |

All backpacks MUST be clear or mesh. |
Clear or mesh backpacks are available at our uniform vender's store and website. |
Backpacks that are not transparent or mesh will be confiscated. |
