Duval County Public Schools offers engaging early learning programs that prepare children for successful entry into kindergarten. Parents may enroll their age three (3) or age four (4) child in a standards-based, developmentally appropriate school year program or the Summer Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program for children entering kindergarten in the fall.
DCPS VPK Lottery Information for the 2021-2022 School Year: The lottery period will close at 11:59pm on February 28th. Parents who still wish to apply must follow the following steps for participation:
Step 1: Create a Student ID for your child and write down the student number: https://dcps.duvalschools.org/Page/15745
Step 2: Create a Parent/Guardian Account (you must have student ID in order to complete this step): https://dcps.duvalschools.org/Page/15745
Step 3: Email two proofs of identification to dcpsec@duvalschools.org. Include child’s name and student ID in email. Please reference approved list of documents via webpage. Failure to submit accurate documents will delay process. Uploaded documents and Focus address must match.
Step 4: You will receive a paper application via email to complete and return before 11:59pm on February 28th. For late applicants, please note that emails will not be processed after 3:00pm on February 27th and February 28th.

DCPS VPK Fall Brick and Mortar (Face-to-Face) Registration (age 4)- 2020-2021 School Year Only
