Each Eagle is Unique

At Southside Estates, we celebrate nearly 70 years of uniqueness and individuality. Our Eagle family includes a rare tapestry of children from different cultures, ethnicities, and learning styles who are provided individualized academic support and attention necessary for them to be successful. This winning formula that makes us one of the most treasured schools in Duval County.

Family Engagement is A Priority

Our parents love Southside Estates because we love our parents. We believe in consistent, meaningful communication between school and home, and we promote parental engagement through monthly activities for the whole family. Some of our favorite events include Technology Night, Math Night, Transition to Middle School Night, and Science Night. Our Southside Estates families tell us they love our focus on the whole child, our schoolwide emphasis on growing productive citizens, and our determination to grow academically successful students.

We Make Learning Fun

We make learning fun and offer a wide range of in-school and after-school enrichment programs through art, music, P.E., media, scouting, gardening, and more. Students have an opportunity to play the violin, basketball, and polish up their math skills all in the same week. Southside Estates teachers create a structured yet nurturing environment so students feel safe and can thrive academically. At our school, successes are celebrated by everyone and each day students are met with exciting new learning adventures.

Our Eagles Soar

Strong relationships are the heart of our Southside Estates Eagle family. We are dedicated to teaching children to be accountable, responsible, and kind to one another. Being tolerant and accepting of individual differences and developing teamwork skills creates a strong foundation for a successful future. Our faculty and staff work diligently to instill the confidence and motivation to excel and so our Eagles will soar.
