  • Why Students Love Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson Elementary School students know they always have a listening ear. Our focus on embracing the whole child allows each child to explore their strengths, overcome challenges, and learn with confidence. They love our chorus, multicultural club, Ukelele club, and being a part of our WTJE News team. Students love that they can explore different cultures while learning new skills that allow them to reach their true potential.

  • What Your Child Will Learn

Your child will learn to welcome the differences of others. They will learn how to tap into their own uniqueness and vitality. Our students develop self-confidence while also becoming contributing members of a team, skills they’ll need as they become future leaders.

  • Why We Are Unique

We are a Multiple Intelligence (MI) magnet school, offering gifted programming. The program focuses on nine ways of being smart: verbal/linguistic, mathematical/logical, naturalistic, musical/rhythmic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, visual/spatial, bodily/kinesthetic, and existential. We observe each child to build upon their unique intelligence.
