TLAM SPELLING BEE
We have registered for the Scripps National Spelling Bee and will holding a Spelling Bee here at TLAM. Students who would like to compete, will report to the media center during 3rd period on November 29 to take the initial screening test. The top 25 will be selected to compete in the TLAM School Spelling Bee to be held in the media center on December 12 during 3rd period.
PROGRESS REPORTS ISSUED ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20 DURING 8th BLOCK
Second Nine Weeks Progress Reports were issued on Monday, November 20 during 8th block. Please review grades with your son/daughter and check the FOCUS grade portal for any updates. If you have questions please contact your son/daughter's teacher(s) before contacting guidance or the main office.
THANKSGIVING HOLIDAYS - SCHOOLS CLOSED
Twin Lakes Academy Middle School will be closed Wednesday, November 22 through Sunday, November 26 for Thanksgiving Holidays. We will return on Monday, November 27, which will be a B-Day.

Your articles should be on the Topic of HOLIDAYS or ENTERTAINMENT (there are over 100 to choose from).
All articles must be read between November 7 and November 26.
Prizes will be awarded on Friday, December 1.
PTSA HOLIDAY DANCE - Friday, December 1, 4:20 to 6:00, $5
The PTSA will be hosting a Holiday Dance for all grade levels on Friday, December 1, from 4:20 to 6:00 pm in the auditorium. Admission is $5 and there will be food and drinks on sale for $1-$2 each. Parents/Guardians are reminded to please pick up students from the back lot area between 6:00 and 6:15 pm.
FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOR ALL STUDENTS
Twin Lakes Academy Middle School is happy to announce that we will be serving free breakfast and lunch for all students this year. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria between 9:00 am and 9:25 am and students have a choice of a quick bag with granola bar, yogurt and milk or a freshly prepared hot breakfast. During lunches students have the choice of the hot meal of the day or a sandwich or salad from the deli line. Students who wish to purchase snacks will do so during the last 15 minutes of each lunch. Students who are assigned to ISSP, will have their breakfast and lunch delivered to the ISSP Classroom.
