A Rich History of Developing Leaders

With 80 years of serving children, Hendricks is a trusted partner of families in San Marco. Every year we welcome a diverse group of returning and new families to Hendricks. Beyond our academic success, we are committed to providing students with the opportunity to learn about citizenship, leadership, living with integrity and contributing to society through service to others.

Why Students Love Hendricks

Our emphasis on developing leaders provides students with the opportunity to explore what leadership means in his or her own area of interest. Students can help others shine as part of the Kindness Club, develop positive sportsmanship skills in the Board Game Club, or compete gracefully with our Running Club.

What Your Child Will Learn

Through our partnership with the Franklin-Covey “Leader In Me” leadership development and school improvement program, we guide our students to develop the tried-and-true habits of successful people. Each Hendricks student contributes to an annual service project, experiencing firsthand what it feels like to help others, and the lasting impact strong leaders can have on the world around us.

A Dynamic School Experience

Spirited. Energetic. Compassionate. Creative. Positive. Productive. How families describe the culture at Hendricks Elementary. We invite you to take a tour and experience it yourself. We’d be honored to have your family become part of the Hendricks Elementary School community. We can’t wait to see your student soar!
