At Atlantic Coast High School, we offer a dynamic and rigorous curriculum designed to prepare students for college, careers, and beyond. As an AP Capstone school, we challenge students with advanced coursework while also providing six innovative career technical education programs, including UNF’s Teaching pathway, Mayo Hospital’s Nursing pathway, Computer Programming, Video Game Design, JEA’s Engineering pathway, and Digital Video Technology.

Athletics Building Character and Community

At Atlantic Coast, sports are more than just fun—they’re an opportunity to build teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills while staying active and reducing stress. With a wide range of athletic programs, every student can find their place on the field, court, or stage. Our offerings include band and color guard, baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, fast- and slow-pitch softball, flag football, football, lacrosse, soccer, Special Olympics, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, volleyball, weightlifting, and wrestling. Preparation Beyond the Classroom

Beyond the classroom, students can explore a wide range of opportunities, from commercial art, computer science, engineering, and health sciences to gifted and talented programs, industry certifications, and English as a Second Language externships. Our first-rate chorus has performed on the national stage with renowned musicians like Foreigner and Eric Church, while our fine arts, journalism, dance, theatre, band, and tv production and multimedia programs foster creativity and self-expression.
