The new school year is upon us and we want to welcome all stakeholders to Atlantic Coast High school. Last year, we saw many successes as we worked together as one team to prepare students for excellence, and that hard work was rewarded with an even higher “A” school grade. It is critical that we maintain our momentum to achieve a trifecta of “A” school grades. Going into our 10th anniversary year, our theme will surround the why of what we do, and for all of us, it is to ensure the current and future success of our students.

With the onset of the new school year, here are some "Need to Knows" regarding campus policies and procedures.  Please take a moment to review this information so that all students and their parents can be "in the know."

    Transportation Routes and Times    https://dcps.duvalschools.org/Page/9209
    After School Activities Busses    https://dcps.duvalschools.org/Page/9281

Students who are on campus after the 2:00pm bell must be in a room and with supervision.  Usually students are seeking additional tutoring or other assistance and have the opportunity to ride the activity bus home.  Should the student end the tutoring or other assistance prior to the boarding of the activity bus, the student must still be in a supervised area.  For this reason ACHS provides a safe room to complete homework or other academic activities.
Monday and Wednesday, the Safe Room is located in room 527 from 2:30 to 5pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Safe Room is located in room 534 from 2:30 to 5pm
There is no Safe Room locations on Fridays, students should go home at the end of the day or have transportation home.
