  • Homework Help
To provide additional support to parents DCPS has developed a new resource, “The Elementary Math Parent Homework Helpline.”   This will begin on Tuesday, November 3rd and continue on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  Certified teachers will be available to assist families in solving problems and discussing mathematical questions and issues that their children are learning in class.  Parents can call in or join a collaborative online space from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in order to access assistance.

Important - for ALL STUDENTS from Resource:
    Dear HAE Families,

As we prepare to return to school, the resource team has spent a lot of time coming up with a plan to keep our students safe in class. We feel the best way to do this is to make sure each student has their own personal equipment and supplies.

    Physical Education:

I’m asking families to provide a Personal PE Pack for your child with the following items:

    Tennis Ball

Mesh or nylon string backpack (separate from school backpack). This will stay at school.

Soccer or playground ball. If you choose the soccer ball, grades k-2 should get a size 3 and grades 3-5 should get a size 4

Jump Rope with a plastic handle (avoid foam handles) for easy sanitation. Make sure the rope is not too long for your child.

    Yoga Mat

    Water Bottle

Fitbit, pedometer, or something to track steps/mileage (optional)

    Gallon Zip Lock Bags

    Model PBIS School Certificate
    TBI Flier
    Bus Service 20-21
Check out this great way to support our classrooms and teachers
