Student-Led Transition Program
At ABE we have an active Military Club. Our club meets monthly and offers a place for transitioning military students to meet new friends and other military students. transitioning students will be paired up with a club member in their grade level to help with the transition to our school. We also have 2 fifth students who are our Military Club Ambassadors to help show the new students around the school and meet the staff. Our Military club meets every month during the school year.
Anchored 4 Life is a program designed to support students, particularly those experiencing transitions related to military life (like deployments or moves), by building resilience and social skills. It's a student-led initiative, often facilitated by older students, that offers various support systems like school tours for new students, social and emotional support during transitions, and opportunities for leadership and character development.
