Hello Stingray Nation!
First, we want to remind you that next week we will only have school on Monday and Tuesday, November 24th and 25th. School will be closed Wednesday November 26th through Friday November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday break. We hope you and your family enjoy a safe, restful break, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on campus the following Monday, December 1st.
Quarter Two Progress Reports were posted to Focus accounts on Tuesday, November 18th. Please ensure you are monitoring your Parent/Guardian Focus account and are in communication with your student about their current performance. Quarter Two closes and ends our first semester on Friday, December 19th. With four weeks remaining, let's be proactive to finish this quarter strong!

EOC testing will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, December 9th through 11th. This is for seniors and juniors still needing concordant reading and/or math scores and students taking Algebra 1, Geometry, U.S. History, and Biology through FLVS. In addition, the FCLE will be administered to students taking U.S. Government through FLVS. The exact date and time of testing will be communicated to students' DCPS email the week prior. Students should take time now to begin preparing for these important tests.
The induction ceremony for National Honor Society will be held at 6pm on December 3rd in the ACHS auditorium.
There is a parent interest meeting for Mr. and Ms. Atlantic Coast in room 104 on Thursday, December 4th at 6pm.
Senior bundle members! Your gear is available to pick up from Ms. Lakatos in room 213. You can pick up items during lunches only from the painted windows that open onto the courtyard.
Starting Monday, November 24th, senior drifit long-sleeved shirts will be available to purchase through the Stingray Athletic Boosters. Sizes are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. See Ms. Lakatos in room 213 during lunch to purchase.
Are you looking for some AC gear? The Stingray Athletic Boosters are selling items that range in price from $1 to $15. Gear can be purchased during all home sporting events or during lunch from Ms. Lakatos in room 213.
