Hello Stingray Nation!
This is a reminder that students will have a five-day weekend coming up, with no school on Friday, April 3rd, Monday, April 6th, and Tuesday, April 7th.
Students are not permitted to sell any food items on campus, whether store-bought or homemade. This includes selling items before school, during lunch, or after school on school grounds. Please be advised that engaging in the sale of food items is considered a code of conduct infraction and may result in disciplinary consequences. We ask for your support in reinforcing this expectation with your student to ensure a safe and orderly school environment for all.
Wednesday, April 1st is an important testing day for our students. 9th and 10th grade ELA students will take the Florida BEST Writing test. All 11th graders, along with any non-concordant seniors who still need a passing score on the state math and/or reading assessment, will take the SAT at no cost. Concordant seniors will be assigned to a designated space for study hall. Families, it is essential that all students arrive to school on time on Wednesday, especially students taking the SAT. Students who arrive after testing has started will not be allowed into the testing room and will miss this opportunity to take the SAT for free. To our non-concordant seniors taking the SAT on Wednesday, please make sure you arrive on time and are prepared to test so you can meet your remaining graduation requirement. On Tuesday night, all students who are testing on Wednesday should log in to their student laptop, run any updates if needed, and leave the laptop plugged in and turned on (sleep mode is fine) so it can receive important updates. Completing this step will help testing run smoothly for everyone.

Families, please be aware that information regarding Off-Campus Dual Enrollment and Early Admissions opportunities for Fall 2026 has been emailed directly to the students and the parents of those who currently meet the preliminary eligibility requirements. If your student did not receive an email, no further action is required. Only students who potentially qualify have been contacted with details and next steps. The Traditional Dual Enrollment and Early Admissions Interest Survey link was included in the email and should have been completed by March 27th. Students who were contacted regarding Early Admissions must also submit the Early Admissions Application (attached to their email) by April 1st. There is a mandatory orientation for all Early Admission and New Traditional Dual Enrollment students and their parents on Saturday, May 16th at FSCJ Downtown Campus. Contact your school counselor with questions regarding off-campus dual enrollment.
As always, if you have any feedback or input on our work here at Atlantic Coast please reach out to the school.
