Stingray Nation Weekly Update Atlantic Coast High School

Hello Stingray Nation!

This message is specific for our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students:

First, there is no school tomorrow, Monday, May 25th.

Second, Thursday, May 28th is the last day of school for this school year! For the final week of classes, we will be on a modified early release schedule. All students will be dismissed for the day at 11:00am every day this week. Again, all students will be dismissed at 11:00am this week.

Students will attend the following classes this week on a modified schedule:

-Tuesday May 26th: 1st, 2nd, and 7th period

-Wednesday May 27th: 4th, 5th, and 7th period

-Thursday May 28th: 3rd, 6th, and 7th period

Again, just as a reminder, all students will be dismissed at 11:00am every day this week.

No student check outs will be allowed after 10:30am. Again, the final time to check out a student early this week is 10:30am.

No backpacks will be allowed on campus. Any backpacks brought to campus will be confiscated and returned at the end of the day.

There will be no hall passes issued this week. All students should report to their assigned classrooms.

There are no after-school activities scheduled on-campus this week. All students need to make arrangements to head home at 11:00am when dismissed.

Students would like lunch this week will need to get a wristband from the cafeteria every morning prior to 7:15am. Students with lunch wristbands will be excused a few minutes early to pick up a bag lunch in the cafeteria. An announcement will be made to release students with wristbands. Students without a wristband are to remain in their classroom until the bell rings.

Free sports physicals will be provided on Monday, July 17th, beginning at 9:00am here at ACHS, in the 300 building on the first floor. Any student wishing to get a physical must have all paperwork signed and completed by a parent or guardian upon arrival. Physical forms and St. Vincent's consent forms are available on the stingraysathletics.org website. Please reach out to Athletic Director Blount with any questions.

As always, if you have any feedback or input on our work here at Atlantic Coast please reach out to the school.
