Tutoring starts today, December 9, 2025 and runs through Quarter 3.

Stingray Nation Class of 2026!
ICYMI: Tickets for Grad Bash 2026 at Universal Studios Orlando are officially on sale.
This year’s trip will take place on Thursday, April 30th, and includes admission to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, plus charter bus transportation to and from the event. Seniors will enjoy exclusive access to the parks and rides from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM during this special, private celebration. Please note: We do not stay overnight. We return to campus immediately after the event ends.

Important Information
This is a SENIORS-ONLY event. Tickets must be purchased through Atlantic Coast High School.
Students must be clear as a senior to attend. If you are unsure of your status, please check with Ms. Norris or Mrs. Prier.
Permission slips and full event details will be distributed in early February, after ticket sales close.

Atlantic Coast High School is proud to announce that the Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.
Additional details (including information about graduation rehearsal, arrival times, parking, and other logistics) will be released during the second semester. Seniors and their families are encouraged to check the Senior Update page on the ACHS website frequently, as new information will be added as it becomes available.
As of now, seniors can find details about ticket distribution, dress code expectations, and several upcoming senior events. This includes the Senior Breakfast and the Grad Bash trip to Universal Studios Orlando, both of which are highlighted on the Senior Update page.

To apply for a Jacksonville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a high school senior currently enrolled in a school located in Duval, St. Johns, or Nassau County.
Have plans to matriculate full-time at a four-year accredited college or university during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Who Can Take the PERT?
PERT is not a graduation requirement. However, it is one of several ways you can qualify for Senior Leave and Dual Enrollment opportunities.
You must be a junior or senior.
You must have already earned passing scores for reading and math tests required for graduation.
If you are a sophomore trying to qualify for dual enrollment, you may take the PERT if you have passed your math test for graduation and have a cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 3.5.
Test Day Information:
Notification:
On the Friday before test day, you will receive an email to your student email account confirming your test registration.
On test day, you will receive a testing notification during your 1A or 4B class giving you your test location.
Be on Time: Testing begins promptly at 2:00 p.m. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
Testing Duration: You have the entire afternoon to complete any part of the test, but you must finish by 5:00 p.m.
Transportation: Ensure you have reliable transportation arranged.
What to Bring: Bring a fully charged, school-issued laptop and a pencil. You will receive scratch paper from the test proctor.
Cell Phones: All cell phones must be turned off and stored away during testing. Any use of a cell phone will result in your test being invalidated, and you will not be eligible to retake the PERT this school year.
No Hoodies: For test security, you are not permitted to wear a hoodie during testing. Make sure you are in dress code under your hoodie on Test Day.
No Show Fee: If you sign up to take PERT, you must show up. Failure to email Ms. Hozey by Monday, November 17 at 10 a.m. to cancel your PERT Registration will result in your student account being charged $20.

For interested students, registration information can be found in your English 4, US Government, or Economics classes. Information will also be posted on the ACHS website, Morning Rays, and ACHS Counseling Instagram page.

Goodwill Industries of North Florida is proud to partner with the City of Jacksonville to facilitate another session of the Mayor’s Youth at Work Partnership (MYAWP).
The Mayor’s Youth At Work Partnership’s Spring 2026 session will provide Duval County students with a paid work experience for up to 15 hours per week this January- April. In addition to the job placement, students also receive access to workforce development training, a job coach to guide them through the program, a VyStar bank account, direct deposit, and financial education with the chance to earn badges. The MYAWP team places students in job opportunities based on their interests, schedules, and location. To be eligible, students must be:
16 - 21 years old.
enrolled in a high school, GED program, technical school, university, or college in Duval County.

This is a competitive process, and there are limited spots in the program. Students are encouraged to complete an application and, upon completion, check their emails frequently for next steps, which include signing up for a mandatory in-person onboarding session. The in-person onboarding sessions are required for new and returning students.
Please Note:
Job placements are not guaranteed. They are based on the student’s interests, availability, and location. Students can work up to 15 hours per week, including virtual training.
Students are expected to be able to work for the full 12 weeks, January- April.
Students who have already completed 3 or more sessions are no longer eligible.
Students must turn 16 by the start of the program, and their 22nd birthday may not fall prior to the last day of the program.

Make-Up Underclassmen Yearbook Photos are November 4th.
This session is only for students who missed the first session -OR- have paid for their photo and would like to do a retake (you will need to show your receipt).
