The Roar of the Tigers is the official marching band of Andrew Jackson High School. The ensemble was formerly known as the Marching Tigers, and while our name has changed, our tradition of musical excellence, school spirit, and community engagement continues to grow. We welcome all students, regardless of prior musical experience, and work to build a positive, disciplined, and family‑focused band culture.

History & Accomplishments

• Earned our first Superior Rating at Marching MPA(November 2025), a historic achievement for our program.

• Performed at a men’s college basketball game broadcast on ESPN.

• Featured performers at the UniverSoul Circus.

• Regular performers at Jacksonville city parades and numerous community events.
