Today, Assistant Superintendent Peek and Principal Findlay surprised Mrs. Jones with two heartfelt letters written by former students—who are now graduating high school! 🎓 These students reflected on how her guidance shaped their journey, instilling perseverance, a strong work ethic, and the confidence to take on the real world.

We succeed when Dolphins READ! 🐬Yesterday, Principal Findlay hosted our Spring into Reading event with K-2 students. This exciting session sparked enthusiasm for end-of-year testing, blending poetry and science into a fun activity. Shoutout to our Dolphin readers—you’re making waves! 🌊✨
Big smiles all around last week as our students scored TWO brand-new books to keep, huge thanks to Mayor Deegan's River City Readers, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Read USA 📚🙌 The fun didn’t stop there—our Superintendent, Dr. Bernier, even stopped by to join in on the excitement! Later that day, the whole school came together for D.E.A.R. time—Drop Everything And Read—to celebrate the joy of reading. ❤️
Spring Break is here! Classes will resume on Tuesday, March 25th. Each student has been provided with a Spring Break packet, which should be completed and returned upon their return to school.

Breaks in routine can affect emotional well-being, but we’re here to help. Hazel’s licensed therapists provide:
-1-on-1 counseling for academic stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges
-Proven results: 90% of students improve after six sessions
-Holiday hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (local time), except on 12/24, 12/25, and 1/1
Physical Health Support
Whether it’s colds, flu, fevers, or other common concerns, Hazel’s board-certified medical providers are available: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except on 12/24, 12/25 and 1/1)

Yesterday our 3rd-5th graders had the opportunity to attend a financial literacy and physical fitness field trip to the Jacksonville Jaguars new practice facility. Students received financial education in an engaging and impactful way.
Today we celebrated a school-wide flag raising ceremony. This is a tradition that allows us to integrate principles of citizenship and honor to our Dolphin values. We also got to recognize our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Bradner, Employee of the Year, Ms. Gray, and Parent Champion, Ms. Tarajano!
