Our beautiful K-5 elementary school is nestled in the Bartram Springs community, bordering the Duval and St. Johns County line. We are one of the largest elementary schools in Duval County with a diverse population of students. Since opening its doors in 2009, Bartram Springs has maintained an “A” rating. We are currently a Florida Department of Education designated “School of Excellence” and have been since 2017!
Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students, with opportunities for academic, social, and emotional growth. We encourage academic success through focused instruction while continuously reviewing student progress. We meet our students where they are and create a supportive atmosphere for learning. We are committed to building traditions at Bartram Springs to make it a memorable, engaging, and successful elementary experience for all students.
Community Engagement
As part of the Bartram Springs community, we have many families who have been with us since the beginning. As their families have grown over the years, Bartram Springs Elementary has grown right alongside them. We welcome families to actively participate in the learning experiences of their children and are fortunate to have an active, passionate, and award-winning PTA that plays an enormous role in creating memorable events for our students and making improvements to our campus.
Strong Relationships with Students
Our students love our school because of the strong connections and relationships they form while they are here. Many of our students attend Bartram from kindergarten through 5th grade. Our 5th-grade graduates are even invited to come back when they graduate high school to walk in our “CLAP OUT” with our current 5th graders! The culture at Bartram Springs is a caring one, providing encouragement, support, and excellence through the relationships built between students and staff. Memories are made, friendships are forged, and tears are shed on the last day of school!
