Brewer Welcomes Our New Principal, Mrs. Shana Adams

I am so excited to be part of the Don Brewer Family!!! Mrs. Adams comes to Don Brewer from Susie Tolbert Elementary, and with her experience and dedication, will provide awesome instructional leadership as she is dedicated to supporting the stakeholders here at DBE!
Don Brewer Elementary celebrates its 22nd year of serving the children of the Arlington area. The school is unique in that it is only one of two intermediate schools in Duval County. Serving third, fourth, and fifth graders, Don Brewer Elementary’s sister school is Merrill Road Elementary, which is also located on Hartsfield Road.
Students who attend Don Brewer Elementary are afforded a standards-based education, in which teachers provide scaffolded instruction to ensure that students develop into independent learners. We also have full-time art, music, and PE teachers who work to support our goal of educating the whole child. The school has a part-time media specialist who works to support students in media and technology. Don Brewer Elementary is a gifted site for the Arlington area.
