This is a good option for parents who desire a quality, asynchronous, virtual educational experience that is dedicated to helping students realize their full potential in a 21st century environment. Duval Virtual Instruction Academy utilizes state-approved curriculum (Edgenuity), certified teachers, and expert instructional support systems. 

This is a great option for middle and high school parents/students who are looking for alternative choices to the traditional brick-and-mortar environment. This program allows pre-teens and teens to develop skills in responsibility, organization, and intrinsic motivation. However, many students in this age bracket still need day-to-day parental guidance and involvement.

Students have access to our full-service guidance department for counseling in post-secondary readiness, career planning, scholarship eligibility, and more! Each year, we also hold a commencement ceremony for our full-time, graduating seniors. 

Although Duval Virtual Instruction Academy does not have an athletic program, our students can qualify to participate in local school athletic programs according to their permanent residence.
