Parents and caregivers of VPK–2nd grade students are invited to our Reading with Your Little “Muffin” Title I Parent Event! Enjoy a muffin and a good book with your child while learning helpful strategies to support reading and homework at home.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - The countdown is on — just ONE month until the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 10. Take small steps now to get ready: Adjust sleep schedules a little each week, gather school supplies and organize backpacks, keep learning going with 20 minutes of reading or math each day, mark important school dates on your family calendar, and start practicing morning routines. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing year!

May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to promoting emotional well-being, kindness, self-care, and support for one another. At school, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and we want to ensure that all students feel seen, supported, and encouraged.
Next week, we will close out Mental Health Awareness Month with a Mini Mental Health Expo for our students. During the expo, students will have the opportunity to visit tables featuring mental health resources, positive activities, coping strategies, and encouraging information designed to support their overall well-being.
As we head into the long weekend, we encourage families to continue uplifting conversations at home. A few simple words of encouragement can make a lasting impact on a child’s confidence and emotional health. Consider reminding your child:
“You are loved.”
“You are important.”
“I am proud of you.”
“It’s okay to talk about your feelings.”
“You can always come to me when you need support.”
