Arrival and dismissal are important parts of our day at Hendricks Avenue Elementary School.
Students begin to arrive at school at 8:10 AM. Students are expected to wait in their designated areas until the bell rings at 8:25 AM and students are admitted to their classroom.
Dismissal begins at 2:50 PM for car riders and bus riders. Car riders will be called from their designated areas as parents arrive. Walkers and bike riders are dismissed at 3:00 PM.
Extended Day students are released at 3:00 and report to the cafeteria to begin their afternoon with our Extended Day Program.
