Community Resource Fair in the Gym

Mt. Herman Exceptional Student Center proudly hosted a Community Resource Fair on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in the school’s multipurpose room from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The event brought together families, educators, students, and community partners for a meaningful opportunity to connect with valuable local resources that support students with exceptional needs.

The fair officially began with a warm welcome from School Principal Mr. Moses Williams, alongside School Parent Liaison Ms. Stephanie Granno. Both emphasized the importance of collaboration between schools, families, and community agencies to ensure students receive the support they need both inside and outside the classroom.

Parents, teachers, and students had the opportunity to walk around the fair, engage in one-on-one conversations with vendors, and learn more about services related to education, health, accessibility, and lifelong learning. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere encouraged open discussion and helped strengthen connections between the school and its community partners.

The Community Resource Fair was a successful and informative event that highlighted Mt. Herman Exceptional Student Center’s ongoing commitment to supporting students and families through strong community partnerships. The school extends its sincere appreciation to all participating organizations and attendees for helping make the event a meaningful experience for everyone involved.
