Pride of the Northside

Highlands Middle School, proudly known as the Pride of the Northside, serves students in grades 6–8 on Jacksonville’s north side. We foster a safe, inclusive, and culturally rich environment where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. With a strong focus on academic achievement, personal growth, and student support, our school has made consistent academic gains over the past decade through the shared efforts of dedicated staff and families. At Highlands, we build strong relationships, celebrate progress, and prepare students for bright, successful futures.
