Empowering Minds and Shaping the Future

Here at Hyde Park Elementary, we are empowering minds and shaping the future. We are a dynamic student-centered community that challenges students to question, imagine, and create bold learning opportunities.

Developing the Whole Child Academically and Mentally

Our goal at Hyde Park is to develop the whole child. We work diligently to improve students’ overall mental and academic well-being. Our focus is to develop critical thinkers by helping students develop an academic vocabulary in order to connect reading, writing, and math to real-world experiences. We also provide our students with strategies to assist with social and emotional learning.

Empowering Our Parents with Resources

Here at Hyde Park, we provide monthly Title 1 Nights for our parents. During this time, parents have the opportunity to engage in the day-to-day learning of their children and make learning activities to take home and assist students. We also provide an awesome parent resource room, which allows parents to check out items as needed to support their child at home. During our monthly SAC meetings, parents are encouraged to attend and hear the updates from our school.

Ensuring Student Voices are Heard

The culture of our school is a blend of many different nationalities and personalities. Hyde Park’s student and teacher population is very diverse. Students feel comfortable speaking, learning, and participating in class. Our students know that no matter what, there is always an adult in their school who is willing to listen to them and ensure their voice is being heard. Students also love the many field trip opportunities they are provided, as well as the different clubs available to them.
