Jacksonville Beach Elementary is a DEDICATED Magnet School for Gifted and Academically Talented (AT) students.  All students must apply through the Duval County Schools Magnet Office and seats are awarded through the lottery system.  Detailed application information is available here. Applications are accepted in January and February for the following school year, and results of the lottery process are typically emailed out in mid-April.

JBE is a unique educational setting, because ALL gifted learners receive daily specialized instruction within all content areas from a Teacher of the Gifted in an inclusion setting. The focus of this instruction is centered around the Florida Frameworks for Gifted Learners.
