Innovative and Transformative Education
As Game Changers, we develop visionary, innovative students who challenge the status quo and drive transformation. Our holistic approach to education is centered around our unique house system, which creates a positive climate and culture for students and staff. This system exposes students to a diverse range of activities including coding, robotics, dance, gardening, drones, financial literacy, art, and videography — all aimed at fostering a love of learning and a strong, positive self-image.
We implement small group instruction, which allows teachers to tailor instruction to specific student needs, address areas of weakness, and build on strengths within a smaller group dynamic.
We also have career and college readiness initiatives allowing students to prepare for the transition from school to the professional world.
Finally, we embrace a holistic learning culture that embraces a variety of development methods and mentorship initiatives.
Strong Community Partners and Resources
We have cultivated relationships with several faith-based partners and businesses. They are active in the community, participating in food drives, flu clinics, physicals, and immunizations. We also provide resources to parents and families, such as a food pantry, AKA food drive, clothing pantry, Bright Holidays (donated gifts during the holidays for 50 families), and ELL support.
A Fun and Challenging Environment
Our students feel safe and accepted in a caring community. Students also have fun as they learn new skills such as science, engineering, and robotics.
We make sure to challenge students at an appropriate level and support them when they make mistakes. Our supportive teachers provide wraparound support.
