Our teachers and staff have helped us become an A-rated school district. Their dedication and expertise make a difference in classrooms every day, which is why recruiting and retaining great teachers remains an important priority for DCPS.
In 2022, Duval County voters approved the current 1-Mill, which has helped support teacher compensation and recruft and retain qualitied, certitied educators. Under Florda law, voters must consider the continuation of R the 1-Mill every four years, which is why it will appear on the November ballot.
Over the coming weeks, we'll share information about the 1-Mill, how the funding is used, the progress we've seen, and answers to frequently asked questions so our community can make an informed decision.
Learn more about the 1-mill referendum by clicking the link in DCPS's Linktree

All middle and high school students (grades 6–12) now have the ability to manage and change their own passwords! Students can update their password at any time using a DCPS computer or through OneView from any computer.
For added security and easier password resets, students are also encouraged to register for Self Service Password Reset (SSPR).
📌 See the flyer below for step-by-step instructions and password requirements.
If a student needs additional assistance, a school Principal or Assistant Principal can also help with password changes.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - The countdown is on — just ONE month until the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 10. Take small steps now to get ready: Adjust sleep schedules a little each week, gather school supplies and organize backpacks, keep learning going with 20 minutes of reading or math each day, mark important school dates on your family calendar, and start practicing morning routines. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing year!

Registration for the 2026–2027 JLCP Extended Day Program will open on Monday, July 13 at 8:00 AM.
Due to limited capacity, enrollment is available on a first-come basis until sites reach capacity. Students registering after a site is full will be placed on a waiting list, and available openings will be filled through a lottery process.
We encourage families needing Extended Day services to register as early as possible.
🐾 We look forward to another great year.
