Welcome back to another exciting school year at John Stockton Elementary, where we are Riding the Waves to Academic Success! As we ride the waves into a brand-new year of learning, I’d like to pause and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our students, staff, and families from last year.

We are proud to share that our Pirates made quite a splash on the state assessments:

🌊 5th-grade Reading Proficiency was at an all-time high at 93%

🌊 3rd–5th Grade Reading Proficiency increased to 88%.

🌊 3rd–5th Grade Math Proficiency was an impressive 89%.

🌊 5th Grade Science Proficiency was 97%- the highest in the district.

These remarkable achievements reflect the dedication, perseverance, and teamwork of our students, staff, and families. Together, we've created a learning community where every child is encouraged to explore, discover, and grow. While we're proud of how far we've sailed, we know there are always new horizons ahead. At JSE, we don’t simply drift with the tide—we paddle forward with purpose, embrace new challenges, and continue reaching for excellence. Every day brings fresh opportunities to learn, lead, and shine.
