
School Service Clubs
Anchored 4 Life is a student-led service club for 3rd-5th graders that provides support to fellow students facing transitions in life. Activities include providing support kits to students in need, community service projects, and special events honoring our military personnel.
Student Council is a student-led service club for 2nd- 5th graders that helps to develop leadership skills through service to others in our school and community.
ToT’s (Teachers of Tomorrow ) is a service club for 4th graders that provides opportunities for students to show responsibility, compassion, and self-motivation by assisting teachers with the organization and preparation of materials and supplies used to maintain daily activities.
Patrols is a service club for 5th graders. Acceptance is based on a point system. Patrols assist in ensuring the safe and orderly arrival and dismissal of students, often at the beginning and end of the school day and may also assist with traffic safety and bus loading/unloading.
School Extracurricular Clubs
Girls Who Code is an extra-curricular club for 3rd & 4th graders that is part of an international nonprofit organization that aims to support and increase the number of women in computer science. No prior experience in coding is necessary- we work together as a team to develop our skills!
STEM is an extra-curricular club for 3rd -5th graders. The goal of the STEM Club is to provide additional opportunities for students to explore STEM careers, topics, and challenges through hands-on learning.
Chorus is an extra-curricular club for 3rd -5th graders. This singing group offers a wonderful opportunity for children to develop their musical skills, learn about choral music, and perform together. Regular attendance at rehearsals and at least two school performances is expected to ensure a cohesive group.
Robotics is an extra-curricular club for 4th & 5th graders that uses the “First Lego League Challenge” program. It is a robotics competition for youth which integrates robotics, core values and teamwork while solving real-world challenges. 8 team members are invited to join in May after participating in a robotics tryout.
Jr. Riverkeepers is an extra-curricular club for 2nd & 3rd graders offered by St. Johns Riverkeeper that aims to educate and empower young people to become river stewards and advocate for clean water. This after-school program connects young people with their local rivers and watersheds, fostering a sense of responsibility and stewardship.
Gifted and Academically Talented Education (GATE)
The GATE program is an enrichment program that is offered to our 3rd-5th grade students who are gifted and academically talented. Students are applying depth and breadth to the state benchmarks they are learning.

Varsity Tutors is a trusted education platform built to support today’s learners. It offers live, interactive tutoring sessions with real experts, covering a wide range of subjects. Best of all, it's free for your child to use! Whether your student needs help with math, reading, science, or just wants to sharpen their skills, this is an amazing resource to have at their fingertips.
Students can log in through their Blended Learning account and follow the link to Varsity Tutors. From there, they can explore available tutors and schedule sessions that fit their needs.

District Resources
Parent Academy of Duval County Public Schools is a FREE family resource that promotes parental involvement, enhances student achievement, and supports a caregiver's need for personal and individual growth. Parent Academy courses are offered virtually through Microsoft Teams.
Parent Academy focuses on the following three fundamental categories:
1. Student Achievement
Workshops and activities provide parents and caregivers with the necessary tools to promote students' academic achievement as well as provide support in navigating the school system.
2. Parenting & Advocacy
Workshops and activities provide innovative tools and strategies to effectively enhance parenting, student advocacy, and leadership skills.
3. Personal & Individual Growth
Workshops and activities provide empowering information, motivation, and encouragement for the personal and professional growth of parents and caregivers.
If you have preschool-aged children, Duval County Public Schools offers a variety of engaging early learning programs that prepare children for successful entry into kindergarten. Parents may enroll their ages 3-5 child in a standards-based, developmentally appropriate school year program or the Summer Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program for children entering kindergarten in the fall. Qualified families may choose to enroll in a comprehensive early learning program (Head Start) for students as young as three years of age.
