Dear parents/guardians,
Happy Saturday Patriots! Another glorious day in Jacksonville and a wonderful week at JSMAL. Our cadets figured out how to have indoor formation in the gym so that we could have a formation every day, inside or outside. It was a beautiful thing and according to my leadership teachers, our eighth-grade officers made it happen. We had a wonderful family engagement night on Tuesday filled with valuable information, food, and prizes. Every family walked away with a gift. What will it take to get your family to come to these events? Please send me your ideas!
5th Annual Bike Rodeo – Thank you to all the volunteers and people who came out to support this amazing event we held this week. Special shout out to Mrs. McNutt and her team of patriot pals and staff who organized an enjoyable day of bike riding and bike safety.

Car safety - Parents, please do not park on Permento when picking up and dropping off your cadet. Use the drop-off and pick-up on Burma Road. The traffic on Permento and the buses, make it not safe for your child. In addition, the only entrance for drop of and pick up is the front office or gate in the front of the school on Burma Road. Only buses and a few staff members are allowed to enter from Permento Road.
Need help during Spring Break? Duval County Students are eligible to receive meal bags that include six breakfasts, six snacks, and six lunches. The deadline to request the meal bag is March 3. They will be delivered to JSMAL for your student. See attached flyer for the QR code to request a food bag.
