Dear parents/guardians,
Happy Easter Sunday Patriots! We took a break from Math Boot Camps this weekend, but we are picking them up again. The next one is this Saturday, April 26 from 0930-1200pm. Please pick your cadet up NLT 12:30pm. Thank you to all our parents who brought their cadet to JSMAL and thank you for picking them all up on time. Why would I want to send my child to Math Boot Camp you ask? It is time for your cadet to review in preparation for the state test, it is a chance to pull your math grade up, it is a fun, less structured environment from the classroom and it helps build confidence for your cadet.
Congressman Aaron Bean will be visiting JSMAL on Wednesday this week. We are one of two schools he is visiting because of Mr. Benton’s work with 8th graders on the Capital Stock Market game. We are the only school in Duval County he is visiting. Well done Mr. Benton and our 8th graders who traded shares on the virtual stock market game.
We have quickly come to the finish line on the 2025 Duval Parent Survey. The survey window will close on April 30, 2025. Thank you to the 68 parents who already filled this out. I need at least 32 more. There are nine of you who started the survey, but did not finish it. There is still time to do that. Use the link to take the survey, I will also send it via SMS text:
