Patriot News headline

Dear parents/guardians,

Happy Sunday Patriots! I am super proud of our cadets this month!  So far, we are exceeding our goals in ELA, Science and Math.  We have a huge increase in the number of levels 3, 4 and 5 cadets in all subjects. We still have three important state tests coming up.  This week we have math state testing, Algebra I and Geometry, and Civics. We will continue make up testing this week as well. After testing, we will be celebrating all our cadets who met or exceeded their goals in reading and math with an afternoon grill out on Wednesday, May 28th.

Looking for help with transportation? Step-Up for Students – The district has announced that buses for magnet schools will go away. One of our parents found this site with a Transportation Stipend to help offset the cost for you to drive your cadet to JSMAL: To support the transportation costs associated with traveling to a public school other than the one the student has been assigned, families of K-8 students can benefit from a transportation stipend of $750 per household. Check out the website below to apply.
