Happy Veterans Day Patriots! Thank you to all our servicemembers, current and former, and to the families that sacrifice so that men and women can serve our country.
Veteran’s Day Ceremony – This Friday, at 1000am is our Veteran’s Day Ceremony. The reason we have this after the holiday is because this is when we are scheduled to get our gym floors resurfaced every year and I cannot change it with the district. I urge our Veteran’s to come on Friday so that we may honor you. If you plan on attending, please reach out to your cadet’s leadership teacher (Palomino or Howard) as soon as possible.
Winter Sports – November 17 begins tryouts for girls and boys Soccer. November 18 begins tryouts for Boys Basketball. 6th and 7th grade will try out Nov 18 and 19. 8th grade boys will try out on Nov 20. Final cuts will be made on Nov 21. Girls Basketball tryouts are TBD. I’ll send out a separate email with tryout information as soon as I get it. Parents, please make sure that your cadet has all the required paperwork uploaded to the Aktivate platform online. Also, make sure you have arranged transportation home for your cadet if he or she is trying out for winter sports. All athletes must be signed up for Team Up. This ensures that each athlete gets a snack before practice and they have a safe place to wait until practice begins.
