Happy Sunday Patriots! I want to take a moment to wish everyone an incredibly happy. Thanksgiving Day break. I am thankful to have the opportunity to lead our amazing school, staff, faculty, cadets, and community. Why are you grateful?
Dress Down Day - We have a short week at JSMAL, only Monday and Tuesday. Cadets may dress down for $2 on Monday and $2 on Tuesday if they choose. Cadets must follow the DCPS guidelines for dress. I will attach those guidelines here for your reference.

Dance Tryouts – Make Up - Dance Tryout “Make-Up Day” scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025, for any students who may have missed the original tryout or who are still interested in trying out before the holidays.
Parent Compacts - Each year, we are required to publish the School/Parent Compact. This is an agreement and commitment between the family and the school to help ensure the success of every student. Please take a moment to read the compact and let me know if we fall short of any of these commitments to your student. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure that every student has every opportunity to be high school ready by the end of eighth grade.
