Dear parents and guardians,
Happy Sunday Patriots! February has come to a quick end today. We have two weeks remaining in the third quarter and Spring Break. We had a busy week at JSMAL, our SLA team participated in Special Olympics, we had high school students from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts perform for our seventh and eighth graders, our sixth graders received health screenings (Vision, Hearing, BMI and Scoliosis) and we had a Title I parent night. A huge thank you to all of you who assisted and/or attended any of these events.
We also received enough applications to bring out the Vision Van back to JSMAL. All parents/guardians who signed up for these free exams and glasses, Heiken is scheduled to conduct these on March 13. Please make sure your cadet is in school on this day so they do not miss the free vision exam. There is still time to apply.
