Dear parents and guardians,
Happy Saturday Patriots! Our cadets did an amazing job this week with the ELA state test! For the first time on the new FSA test, our 7th grade beat the 6th grade! We are currently up 7% schoolwide with 88% of our cadets tested. This week we begin state testing in Math except Algebra I. On Monday, May 11th, both 7 & 8th grade ESOL and 504 cadets will test ELA/Reading. Any cadets remaining will be worked in on make-up days. Friday May 15th, 6th grade ESOL and 504 will take their Math PM3 and the following Monday, May 18th will be for 7th and 8th graders to complete their Math.
Summer Camp - As we are near the end of the school year, we are also in the beginning stages of planning for the summer. Our summer camp program is scheduled to run from June 8 through July 17, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is a free summer program. I am attaching two flyers: one for rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders and one for our rising 9th graders.

Bus Registration - July 22nd is the last day parents can register for the bus to be routed for service the first day of school. General education AND ESE students must be registered through their Focus account or through the school to get routed.

- 7thgrade May 13 from 0800-1100
- 8thgrade May 14 from 0800-1100 (Alg I cadets will stay with Ms. Justice)

Summer Camp Opportunity – Hope at Hand is currently enrolling for our Summer Camp. They offer middle school-age teens a creative, supportive space to explore poetry, art, storytelling, and self-expression throughout the summer. Through inspiring books, hands-on writing activities, and collaborative projects, campers discover the power of their voice in a supportive and encouraging community.
