Good afternoon, JSMAL Parents and Families,
We are excited to share several upcoming opportunities for our cadets and school community!
On Friday, October 2, JSMAL will host a Dress Down Day to support the American Heart Association. Cadets may participate by making a donation, with all proceeds going directly to the American Heart Association. In addition, cadets will be learning basic CPR and other lifesaving techniques in their Health classes throughout the week, helping them develop valuable skills that could one day save a life.
We are also looking forward to celebrating Homecoming Week, October 19-23! The week will be filled with themed dress-up days, fun activities, contests, and our annual in-school football game. We encourage all cadets to participate as we celebrate the spirit, pride, and sense of community that make JSMAL such a special place.
Please mark your calendar for our next School Advisory Council (SAC) Meeting on Wednesday, October 21, at 4:30 p.m. Following the meeting, our Patriots will take on Westside Middle School in one of our biggest volleyball rivalries of the year. We invite all families and community members to attend the SAC meeting and stay to cheer on our student athletes.
Your support and involvement are critical as we continue working toward our goal of becoming an "A" school. Thank you for partnering with us in making JSMAL a place where cadets thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Respectfully,
Trevor C. Clayton
