CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Tomorrow and Wednesday are State Writing Testing days. Please ensure your child arrives by 8:15 AM, well-rested and ready to do their best. The writing assessment can take up to 3½ hours, so we strongly encourage arrival by 8:00 AM to allow time for breakfast.

REGISTER FOR A BUS TODAY - Bus registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open. All students who plan to ride a school bus next year must be registered in advance, including students enrolled in self-contained ESE programs. Families are encouraged to register as early as possible to help ensure a smooth start to the school year. Registration forms are available in Focus. Our students had an amazing experience with the Coastal Wilds Zoo program! They enjoyed learning about kangaroos, a millipede, a guinea pig, a bearded dragon, and a Madagascar tenrec.
Coastal Wilds has been visiting schools all week and is unfortunately low on inventory. Any items your child purchased—other than the photo with an animal—will be shipped to the school. We expect to receive the items and distribute them after Spring Break.

This Friday, our primary students will enjoy a FREE in-school Zoo visit with Coastal Wilds! 🐾
In order to attend, each child must have a signed permission slip on file. A second copy is being sent home today. Please sign and return it as soon as possible.
If you would like your child to make an optional purchase during the visit, please send CASH ONLY in a zip lock bag or envelope labeled with:
• Your child’s name
• The item being purchased
We kindly ask that all permission slips be returned by tomorrow so we can properly plan for student attendance.
