I am Selena Maddox, and I proudly carry 23 years of experience as an educator within the esteemed Duval County Public Schools. Equipped with a BS in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University and dual Master's degrees in Management and Public Administration from the University of Phoenix, I have dedicated myself to shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. Additionally, I've ventured into teaching 6th-grade math in middle school and alternative school settings, showcasing my adaptability as an instructor. My passion lies in implementing positive behavior interventions, creating an inclusive classroom where all learners can thrive. As an ESE certified and ESOL endorsed educator, I firmly believe in empowering students to recognize their strengths, utilizing this self-awareness as a powerful tool to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace. Making a lasting impact on my students' lives is the true fulfillment of my calling as an educator.
