Beginning in 2026-2027, Lakeshore Middle School, will move to a full uniform requirement. All portions of the uniform are mandatory and must be worn properly, every day.

Grade Level Polo Colors:

• 6th Grade: Maroon

• 7th Grade: Black

• 8th Grade: Grey

Uniform Pants Colors (All Grades):

• Black

• Blue

• Khaki

Daily Uniform Must Include

• Shirts with the official Lake Shore Middle Logo

• Uniform pants, uniform shorts, or skorts in black, blue, or khaki only.

• Belt

• Hart-bottom shoes (Crocs and backless shoes are not allowed)

• Uniform jackets with the Lake Shore Middle Logo, when a jacket is worn

• Student ID Badge

Student IDs:

All students must wear their student ID at all times on campus. Student ID's will be distributed the first week of school.

Student Dress Code Reminders

To ensure a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment, all students are expected to follow the Lake Shore Middle School dress code while on campus.

• Hoodies are not permitted on the Lake Shore Middle School campus. Students should not bring hoodies to school, including in backpacks, purses, or other bags.

• T-shirts are not considered part of the official school uniform unless it is a school-approved dress-down day.

• The following items are not permitted on campus:

  • Crocs

  • Flip-flops

  • Sandals

  • Backless shoes

  • House shoes/slippers

  • Yeezy foam runners or similar open-heel footwear

  • Beanies

  • Hats

  • Lace bands

  • Bandanas

  • Bonnets

  • Scarves (unless worn for documented religious or medical purposes)

  • Body armor or protective-style vests that are not school-approved

• Closed-toe athletic shoes or sneakers are the appropriate footwear for daily school attendance.

We appreciate the partnership of our parents and guardians in helping students arrive at school dressed appropriately and ready to learn. Students who do not comply with the school's dress code may be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the Duval County Public Schools Student Code of Conduct.
