Good Evening NVE families!
It's a busy week at the Village this week.

Due to the water pipe break from last week, we are on a boil water advisory until Tuesday afternoon. The District has provided us with bottled water for the students. However, if your student requires more throughout the day, an additional water bottle would be helpful. Don't forget to put their name on it.

Picture day is on Monday. Bring your best smile. Check the attachment for purchasing information.

1st QTR report cards are posted Monday afternoon in Focus. If you have concerns about your child's grades, reach out to their teacher to schedule a conference. We will have Virtual Awards on Wednesday via Facebook Live. KG-2 at 9:45 and 3-5 at 2:00.

Don't forget to return the parent survey sent home last week or complete the survey online. We want to hear your voice so that we can continuously improve our service to you and your student.

Boo Grams are on sale. Send a Spooktackular treat to your favorite friend! Boo Grams are $1.00 each.

The Book Fair starts on Monday. Students can purchase books at the fair during their resource time. Use the link to add money to a virtual wallet and preview books for your student. Friday kicks off Red Ribbon Week - Say No to Drugs and wear your red. It is also a BIZI store day. All shopping must be done by Thursday.

Take the night off from cooking next week - Have dinner at Gator Dockside and raise money for NVE!

Team Up after-school programming is canceled today due to an emergency plumbing repair. The school day will continue as normal, and water service has not been impacted during the day. Staff will remain on campus until all students are picked up. Thank you for your understanding.

Monday, the Data Triangle survey opens. We want your feedback. Please complete the survey online using the QR code or going directly to the DCPS website.

We would love to have parents come support us on Wednesday morning beginning at 7:50am as we Walk and Roll to school. This event is designed to promote safe pedestrian walking and biking to and from school. We would love for you come dressed in bright colors, hold signs, and cheer students on as we encourage and celebrate walker and biker safety!

Included is the the NVE Parent/Student event calendar that includes events and dress up days for the entire month of October.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and NVE is Thinking Pink and Wearing Pink with a Purpose every Wednesday. Please see flyer for dress up details.

This Thursday is Hispanic Heritage Month spirit day. We are inviting all students and staff to wear cultural attire or shirts that celebrate the LatinX/Hispanic culture!
The PTA membership contest is coming to a close. Help your student's class win a pizza party for the class with the greatest percentage of student members.

This week is NE Florida Goes to College Week. Check out the activities we have planned for this week and help your child participate.
