One of the sweetest newer traditions across Duval County Public Schools is the “Gratitude in Ink” initiative. For the past two years, seniors from across our district have written letters to the one teacher who made the greatest impact on their educational journey. 🎓
Five of our teachers were honored with those letters: Mrs. Higginbotham, Mrs. Ledoux, Mrs. Lovelace, Ms. Matson, and Mrs. Mattiace. Chief Financial Officer Mr. Fagan even stopped by to personally read two special letters to Mrs. Ledoux!
The most touching moment was watching the smiles on our current students’ faces as they listened to the heartfelt words written by the Class of 2026.
