Paxon is a 2025 Magnet School of Distinction
Congratulations to Paxon School for Advanced Studies on earning the honor of 2025 Magnet School of Distinction. Over the last several years, Paxon has been consistently recognized by Magnet Schools of America for its demonstrated ability to raise student academic achievement, promote racial and socioeconomic diversity, provide integrated curricula and instruction, and create strong family and community partnerships that enhance the school’s magnet theme.
Paxon is the only secondary school in DCPS to receive this honor and one of only two schools in North Florida to be recognized by Magnet Schools of America. Paxon is proud to celebrate this accomplishment and the hard work of our entire school community.

Paxon Pins Parent Champion
Paxon is grateful to have Mrs. Bobbie Brewer serve as our school's Parent Champion. A Parent Champion is a volunteer parent or guardian designated to serve as a support to their respective school within the areas of improving academic achievement, supporting attendance, and increasing school enrollment. This is a meaningful role appointed by each school’s principal and supported by the Family Engagement department.
